Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok (-)

Upon arrival at Bangkok airport (Gate No.4), you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. The glorious history of the capital of Thailand, Bangkok is closely linked to the Chakri dynasty that still reigns but does rule in Thailand. Install at the hotel and have free time for your relaxation. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2 - Bangkok city (B)

After breakfast, we will visit 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐞𝐰 which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐨, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 which is well known as the Golden Buddha. Afternoon, boarding on 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐮𝐧, the temple of the Aube. Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3 - Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak floating market – Kanchanaburi (B)

Early in the morning, we drive southwest of Bangkok, visit the 𝐌𝐚𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭, take photos, enjoy the local snack in the market before driving to 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐧𝐨𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐤, a rural floating market. Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Then we continue on the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant next to the Kwai River Bridge (by your own account). We continue 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟑𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Day 4 - Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B)

In the morning, we will depart to Ayutthaya. It takes about more than an hour to reach the former Thai capital. Witness the glory of the ancient capital through its temple and palace ruins. First you will visit 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐮 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐠, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya. Then you will proceed to the ancient palace and 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭. You will also visit 𝐕𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐭, one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand. Have lunch free on your own. Afterwards you will visit 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐚. This temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image. Overnight in Ayutthaya.

Day 5 - Ayutthaya – Pa In – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Rai (B)

In the morning, we will visit the 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚-𝐈𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King. And transfer back to Bangkok for a flight to Chiang Rai. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. The remaining time would be spent at your own pleasure. Stay overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 6 - Chiang Rai city tour (B)

Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that, we visit the world famous 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐞𝐰 where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then a short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. 𝐁𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐦 (𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own and in the afternoon, we will take on our 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐊𝐨𝐤 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 from Chiang Rai to Karen village. Transfer back to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 7 - Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (B)

After breakfast, drive to visit 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐞𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit the Opium 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 which shows about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch on your own at the local restaurant at 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞. Taking a 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle. Afternoon transfer directly to Chiang Mai for check in and overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 8 - Chiang Mai city & Doi Suthep (B)

Breakfast and the morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐖𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐋𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐰 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫. After that, you will take a walk through 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐭. In the afternoon you will visit the 𝐃𝐨𝐢 𝐒𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐩 𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥. To brighten up your evening, browse the 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 for yourself. Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 9 - Chiang Mai – Mae Sapok trekking (B, L)

After breakfast, depart from your hotel in a local truck for a 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 of the 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞. You start with a walk in the jungle (around 2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers. Continue walking in the jungle (about an hour) to go to the beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you take a pleasant 𝐛𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫. Return to Chiang Mai around 17h – 17h30. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 10 - Chiang Mai – Departure (B)

Morning free until transfer to the airport home or next destination. End of service.
